Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was founded in 1938 in Mumbai,with a small beginning,has grown into an all - Indiaintellectual, cultural and educational movement. Bhavan's is ceaselessly striving to carry forward India's ageless message - Faith, Self - discipline and Dedication.
Founder
Dr.K.M.Munshi, was a practical idealist. He was a multifaceted personality: Lawyer, Author, Constitution - Maker, Statesman, Social reformer, he was above all one who incessantly strove for cultural and spiritual regeneration.

The House system
The school provides full opportunity to every child his/her physical, moral and mental development and with this objective in view "The House system" has been introduced and allactivities are organized house - wise in the school. Entire strength of the Greenfields is divided into 8 harmonious groups.
Seniors: Valmiki, Vasishta, Viswamithra and Vyasa
Juniors: Lava , Kusa, Druva and Abhimanyu.
Games & Athletics
The School provides ample opportunities for the students in the field of games and sports.The Greenfields regularly participates in district, state and zonal level tournaments.
